New way of looking at old photos

Love the function of converting 2D photos to 4V. The Lume Pad has now given me a reason to dig up all my old holiday photos from as far back as 2001 to see if they can pop out of the screen. Finally, a new way to relive the trips to various parts of the world before the pandemic put a stop to all the traveling.

The Lume pad absolutely rocks!!!

Perfect for viewing and editing your 3D pics!
Ok. So I’ve finally got my hands on a 10.8” auto-stereoscopic Lume Pad!! In a nutshell - it rocks!

Here’s my review:

Perfect for viewing and editing your 3D pics!
If you have a fujifilm W3D camera or any other 3D images, this is the tablet for you. The Colours are vibrant and there are stacks of options for editing and viewing the 3D pics. You get to see your images in stunning, glasses free 3D.

Screen specs: 2D mode is razor sharp 2560x1600, 3D mode you divide by 4 so 640x400 but because of depth the perceived resolution is actually higher, more like HD... the screen offers depths that are easily 4 inches behind the screen through to 4 inches in front of the screen. Stunning and vibrant.

The 3D camera built in is fantastic. Its forte is portraits of people through to stunning flower/food pics. The sweet spot is as close as 2 feet through to 20 feet. AMAZING 3D pop out! Using the 3D Stereoid Pro app opens up the possibility for far distance 3D pics of mountains, clouds etc... right through to SUPER close ups such as a coin with amazing detail.

You have the option to view 3D images in straight stereo mode, 2D or even 4V. 4V is kind of like the lenticular images we used to see on rulers as kids where you could pivot the image left and right and you’d almost get a “look around” effect. Super cool.

Awesome apps such as Leiapix - basically an instagram of 3D pics and also Leiastream - a special 3D youtube type app for a huge collection of 3D content.

Fantastic network of support too so if you’re not quite understanding something, you get direct help - none of this robot answering jargon. Great community too of people keen to share tips and tricks on getting the best out of your 3D images.

The Lume pad absolutely rocks!!! A must for anyone craving a glasses free 3D screen. (Oh, and it’s an awesome tablet too LOL!)

Great product but needs art apps

Does exactly what it says, works very well, sounds great, but there is one big need for it. Especially when you say it's for creative people.

Needs art apps like Nintendo's 3D paint or Oculus tilt brush.

If you can make these apps adaptable, you have a perfect product for what you're offering.

Hi Ken,
Thank you for your kind review and great feedback!
You can use SonarPen https://www.sonarpen.com/
With this app no Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bytestorm.artflow&hl=en_US&gl=US
And you can convert your JPG file into 3D on LeiaPlayer :)

Welcome to the Leia Family!

If you have a fujifilm W3D camera or any other 3D images, this is the tablet for you. The Colours are vibrant and there are stacks of options for editing and viewing the 3D pics. I import my .MPO as SBS images, change the file extension and bingo! You get to see your images in stunning, glasses free 3D. (Apparently there’s an update coming soon for direct imports of .MPO files!! Can’t wait for this)

Making exciting changes for excellence

I being a sceptic when it comes to leaping into uncharted territory, I am so pleased, and impressed with this product. The quality of the unit kind of Wow'd me, gorgeous, solid build. The amazing 3/4 D tools, Apps, make all my photography and visuals stunning. Does everything and more, other high priced pads do in 4D
